The ultimate dream of every movie artist and film technician is to receive the prestigious Academy Award otherwise called as the Oscar Awards.

Being awarded at a function held in Los Angels, where finest artistic excellence is being recognized, everyone especially those interested in film and entertainment industry is eager to know about who turns out to be the winner in each category.

The 90th the academy awards have been distributed today and ‘The Shape of Water’ emerged as the Best Picture.

When everyone talks about the best picture and best director, we, as an academy creating professional Sound Engineers for the past 14 years, are keen to know about the winners in the category of Best Sound Mixing and Sound Editing.

This year’s award for both the Sound Mixing and Sound Editing has gone to the movie, “Dunkirk,” a Christopher Nolan’s layered war epic.

For Sound Mixing, the sound engineers, Mark Weingarten, Gregg Landaker, Gary A. Rizzo were awarded for their euphonic work and Alex Gibson, Richard King has received the award for best Sound Editing.
