Last week we had an interesting session in the academy on the topic Cinematography. It was a great moment for us when Binendra Menon, an eminent cinematographer has agreed to be the Guide for SEA’s students for their one among three projects, ie “Audio Post For Film” which the students of 1 year Diploma in Sound Engineering is supposed to complete during their second semester.
During the session Binendra Menon has provided details regarding sound perception, basic techniques used during Cinematography etc.
The world of movies is always fascinating for everyone and our students are no different from that.
The whole session was an interactive one as our student has raised many questions on basic filming techniques and how sound is effectively managed in movies.
During the end of session Binendra Menon has suggested some world class movies which the students can watch for learning better sound designing techniques and assured students to conduct another session to explain more details about the process of Film Making.
We, the Students, Staff and Management at Sound Engineering Academy once again express gratitude to Binendra Menon in conducting a session for our students and agreed to be with us as the project Guide, looking forward for future associations.
